Distinctive Features of New Vertical and Grand Piano
Bass Bridge:
Bass bridge is mounted directly to sound board to improve tonal response and create more clarity in bass

 

Soundboard and Ribs:
Design and materials are improved to enhance sustain and timbral balance.

 

Soundboard Cutoff Bars:
An improved soundboard shape increase sustain and gives smoother tone response through mid- to upper-tenor section.
String Scaling:
Precisely calculated string scales balance fundamentals and overtones to improve tone quality and give greater tuning stability.
Soundboard Thickness:
Symmetrical soundboard thicknessing provides improved tone balance and clarity across the span of the soundboard.
Hammer Making:
Young Chang’s unique “Cold-press” hammermaking process protects felt from heat damage for a more resilient hammer capable of producing a broad spectrum of tone color.
